White River Family Practice (WRFP) was awarded a 2013 Ambulatory HIMSS Davies Award of Excellence. WRFP is a rural ambulatory care practice serving nearly 12,000 patients in Vermont and New Hampshire. Located in White River Junction, Vt., the practice has a team of six family physicians, three family nurse practitioners and an administrative support staff of 14. In 2009, WRFP began transitioning from paper to electronic health records, utilizing the eClinicalWorks system to help improve the quality of patient care, streamline workflow and generate a return on investment.  View the 2013 White River Family Practice HIMSS application.
