Day 3: Get Pink’d Out

October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, everyone today wore pink in support of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation.  Sessions, including the EMR Tips & Tricks and Patient Portal, were completely packed. Several lucky raffle winners are going home with iPads and the cash blowing machine in the Exhibit Hall drew quite a crowd. The evening culminated in the Alive-and-in-Motion Celebration Event that hosted a variety of entertainment, including the human bowling ball shown below, a fabulous dinner and lots of dancing. Day 2: Keynote and Sessions

The first official day of the National Users Conference has come to a close. The day began with a fabulous Keynote, General Program and Product Showcase. Keynote speakers this year included Regina M. Benjamin, MD, MBA, Surgeon General of the United States, and Farzad Mostashari, MD, National Coordinator for Health Information Technology.
