Ascension Health Extension Hospital Chooses eClinicalWorks Comprehensive Electronic Health Record Solution to Implement for 65 Providers Across 11 Locations
WESTBOROUGH, Mass.—October 23, 2011—eClinicalWorks®, a market leader in ambulatory clinical systems, today announced that Kansas City’s Carondelet Health, an extension hospital for Ascension Health Information Services, has chosen eClinicalWorks unified electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management (PM) system for its 65 providers across 11 locations. The hospital also selected eClinicalWorks Electronic Health eXchange (eEHX) to serve as an integral component of a health system that enables interoperability between clinical systems to foster improved communication across the care continuum.

Improving communication with access to real-time information, eClinicalWorks eEHX will serve as a hub in conjunction with the group’s existing information exchange providing physicians with improved access to patients’ health information and allowing them to exchange data more effectively.
