Patient Portal: The patient portal gives patients access to their records, labs, and secure messages, anywhere and on any device. Patients can update demographics, fill out forms and questionnaires, request prescription refills or appointments, or join a telehealth visit. The portal is linked to the EHR, allowing providers to directly communicate with patients via text or web messages. And providers can customize the portal, so patients see the features providers want them to see.

Many Maryland Endocrine patients are already using the patient portal, and staff are helping more sign up and use the portal. Patients check their balances and offer to make payments upfront. Their card information is also saved on file.

healow Statements: healow Statements has been a game-changer for the practice. On the first day of implementing healow Statements, the practice garnered $40,000. And Maryland Endocrine is saving money by avoiding having to send paper statements to patients.
