eClinicalWorks
December is a time when many people come together to celebrate aspects of their culture and bring about a collective feeling of togetherness. December at eClinicalWorks® is no exception – where eCW employees from every department and office across the United States come together to build their own gingerbread houses.
Why gingerbread houses?
It’s believed that gingerbread houses may have been built back in Germany during the 16th century and became more popular when The Brothers Grimm wrote “Hansel and Gretel”. This tradition has carried on into today, and people from all over stack up hardened pieces of gingerbread every holiday season to build small-scale architectural marvels.
Building a gingerbread house is an artistic and creative endeavor. Now, take into account the thousands of talented eClinicalWorks employees who will put in hours producing a museum-worthy piece of gingerbread art (alongside a competitive flair for quite a few of our employees), and you can see why the gingerbread house competition is something we look forward to each year.
Art on display
Our primary focus at eClinicalWorks is producing comprehensive healthcare IT technology to aid patients and providers on their healthcare journeys. To do that, you bring together a special and talented group of people. That talent carries over into other aspects of life — including the art of building a gingerbread house!
We wish you a safe, fun, and healthy holiday season. And if you’re building your own gingerbread house, happy crafting! We can’t wait to see our employee submissions this year.
