New York State Regional Extension Center Selects eClinicalWorks
Award-winning Electronic Health Records (EHR) Company Selected as Preferred Vendor
Westborough, Mass.—June 8, 2010—eClinicalWorks®, a market leader in ambulatory clinical systems, today announced that the New York eHealth Collaborative (NYeC), the coordinating Regional Extension Center (REC) for the state of New York, has selected eClinicalWorks unified electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management (PM) system for its more than 5,000 providers located across New York state. This information arrives following the June 4 culmination of a series of EHR Meaningful Use Summits held statewide.

The national REC program has granted $598 million to establish 60 centers. This will bring together group practices, critical access hospitals, community health centers and relation healthcare organizations through sustainable two-year grants.
