“With Sunoh I really feel like it’s saving an hour or two a day, which has been excellent. But more than that, I think in addition to saving time, we’re getting more complete notes. Notes that are better to look at down the road to help jog your memory of what was spoken about in the visit.”

Problem

North Texas Preferred Health Partners is a busy concierge family medicine practice with 43 doctors and eight locations from Dallas to Austin. Managing patient documentation was a persistent challenge. As the practice implemented more personalized care, providers found themselves spending more time with each patient, sometimes up to an hour and a half. This comprehensive approach often led to difficulty recalling details from lengthy patient visits, meaning that providers were burdened with completing their notes after hours, negatively impacting their work-life balance and taking away from their free time during evenings and on the weekends.

Solution

Sunoh emerged as a transformative solution for the practice, significantly streamlining the documentation process. By continuously listening and capturing detailed notes during patient visits, Sunoh saved doctors valuable time, reducing documentation time by 40%. This led to the creation of more comprehensive and easily accessible notes, which aided in jogging doctors’ memories and ensuring no important details were overlooked. As a result, the practice experienced less after-hours work since notes were readily available for simple editing, effectively eliminating the need for late-night and weekend note completion.
