How Records in PRISMA Overcame a Language Barrier

Providers at La Clinica Camellia, part of Medicos Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee, used PRISMA to retrieve records showing that a patient had had a postpartum hemorrhage following her hospital delivery. That information helped them better communicate with the patient, who spoke only a Mayan language. They explained that she had anemia and tachycardia and determined the best course of treatment.
