Capability to exchange key clinical information among providers of care and patient-authorized entities electronically

Performed at least one test to electronically exchange key clinical information

How does eClinicalWorks fulfill this requirement?

eClinicalWorks EMR provides the ability to export a CCD file and encrypt it for secure transmission. The EMR also provides the option to import a CCD or CCR file with an easily readable view.

At a future date, eClinicalWorks will complete the certification process for our new information exchange network, eClinicalWorks P2P™ - a network that gives providers the freedom to connect and collaborate with virtually any provider with Internet access.

eClinicalWorks P2P promotes interoperability for practice-to-practice, provider-to-provider and peer-to-peer communications among eClinicalWorks care providers, as well as providers not associated with eClinicalWorks. Vital patient data, medical summary, problem list, lab, radiology and procedure results, and other elements can be shared electronically among providers optimizing interoperability and improving patient care.
