eClinicalWorks Founders Invited to Harvard Business School for Business
Case Review
The co-founders of eClinicalWorks were invited Harvard Business School to present the company,
its growth strategy, market potential and elements that have made the company
successful.
A business case study has been written about eCW by HBS and was taught this semester for
the first time as part of a class taught by Robert F. Higgins.

information through 2005. As a follow-up to the information presented in the
case study, eClinicalWorks would like to share the results of 2006:
* eClinicalWorks continued to accelerate it's growth in 2006, without any
product acquisition and without the need for raising extra capital.
* Revenues doubled in 2006 over 2005 at $40 million.
* eClinicalWorks experienced rapid growth in the number of employees by
increasing 100% over 2005. As of 2006, the employee head count was 400.
* At the close of the first quarter, 2007, eClinicalWorks experienced a 70%
growth over first quarter, 2006.
